Named for the Cascade Mountain range that defines Willamette Valley to the east, our Cascade Pinot Noir is sourced from Gran Moraine Vineyard’s most muscular hillside blocks – 409, 410, and 412. The fruit is hand sorted and 100 percent fermented in 228L French oak barrels. This wine smells like sunshine and roses, is as delicate as a butterfly, and is eloquently understated.
Chocolate covered raspberry, mulling spices, Cara Cara orange, rose petals, crushed potpourri, tarragon
Pomegranate, service berry, pink lady apple, kumquat, mint tea, baking spice, cigar box
Ruthlessly high toned entry, quenching acidity mid pallet to finish, baking cocoa tannins with a black tea and humus driven finish
14 months in 33% new French oak
Painfully beautiful juxtapositions
Velvet drapes followed by a zipper
